Context
Dole Salads needed a modern consumer-facing website to serve as the central hub for product education, recipe discovery, and seasonal campaigns. The challenge was balancing brand storytelling with intuitive navigation and engagement-driven activations.
My Role
As Digital Art Director, I partnered closely with UX, account, creative, and client stakeholders to bring the experience to life.
Collaborated with UX designers to translate user journeys and information architecture into cohesive digital experiences
Owned the visual design system and content frameworks supporting usability and discoverability
Partnered with account, creative, and Dole client stakeholders to develop on-brand digital content that increased awareness and engagement
Directed quarterly recipe photography shoots in Los Angeles, building a repeatable content pipeline for web and social
Designed and launched interactive contests and campaign activations to drive traffic and participation
Impact & Career Inflection Point
This was my first deep immersion into structured UX thinking — understanding how navigation models, content hierarchy, and interaction design directly influence user behavior.
Working alongside the UX team fundamentally shifted my career trajectory. I realized that while visual design amplifies an experience, UX strategy shapes it. That insight led me to pursue UX and product design leadership, where I now focus on aligning experience strategy to measurable business outcomes.
